Waki’ narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Sa’id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, the people of the high ranks will see those who are below them just as they see the rising star in the horizon from the horizons of the sky. And indeed, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar are among them, and how excellent they are."
