Waki' narrated to us, from Hisham bin Sa'd, from 'Umar bin Usayd, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: They used to say during the time of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "The best of the people are Abu Bakr and 'Umar."
