Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Excellent is the man Abu Bakr, excellent is the man Umar, excellent is the man Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, excellent is the man Mu'adh ibn Amr ibn al-Jamuh, and excellent is the man Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah."
