Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: I walked with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to the wife of a man from the Ansar. He said: She spread out for him the roots of palm trees and slaughtered a sheep for us. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "A man from the people of Paradise will surely enter." Then Abu Bakr entered. Then he said: "A man from the people of Paradise will surely enter." Then Umar entered. Then he said: "A man from the people of Paradise will surely enter." Then he said: "O Allah, if You will, make it Ali." Then Ali entered.
