Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:334

Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from Zakariya, from Sa’d ibn Ibrahim, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There were among those who came before you men who were spoken to without being prophets. If there is anyone among my nation like them, it is Umar."
