Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:36

Muhammad bin Bishr narrated to us, Abu Hayyan narrated to us, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: Meat was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, one day, and the foreleg was raised to him, and it used to please him. He took a bite from it, then said: "I am the master of the people on the Day of Resurrection. Do you know why that is? Allah will gather the first and the last on a single plain on the Day of Resurrection. The caller will make them hear, and the sight will encompass them. The sun will draw near, and the people will reach a level of distress and anguish that they cannot bear or endure. Some people will say to others: 'Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached you? Will you not look for someone to intercede for you with your Lord?' Some people will say to others: 'Your father, Adam.' So they will come to him and say: 'O Adam, you are the father of mankind. Allah created you with His hand, breathed into you from His spirit, and commanded the angels, so they prostrated to you. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached us?' He will say to them: 'My Lord has become angry today in a way He has never been angry before, and will never be angry after. He forbade me from the tree, and I disobeyed Him. Myself, myself! Go to someone else. Go to Nuh (Noah).' They will come to Nuh and say: 'O Nuh, you are the first of the messengers to the people of the earth, and Allah named you a grateful servant. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached us?' He will say to them: 'My Lord has become angry today in a way He has never been angry before, and will never be angry after. I had a prayer that I prayed against my people. Myself, myself! Go to someone else. Go to Ibrahim (Abraham).' They will come to Ibrahim and say: 'O Ibrahim, you are the Prophet of Allah and His Khalil (friend) from the people of the earth. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached us?' Ibrahim will say to them: 'My Lord has become angry today in a way He has never been angry before, and will never be angry after.' And he mentioned his lies. 'Myself, myself! Go to someone else. Go to Musa (Moses).' They will come to Musa and say: 'O Musa, you are the Messenger of Allah. Allah favored you over the people with His message and His speaking to you. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached us?' Musa will say to them: 'My Lord has become angry today in a way He has never been angry before, and will never be angry after. I killed a soul whom I was not commanded to kill. Myself, myself! Go to someone else. Go to Isa (Jesus).' They will come to Isa and say: 'O Isa, you are the Messenger of Allah, and you spoke to the people in the cradle, and His word which He cast to Maryam, and a spirit from Him. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached us?' Isa will say to them: 'My Lord has become angry today in a way He has never been angry before, and will never be angry after.' And he did not mention any sin for himself. 'Myself, myself! Go to someone else. Go to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' They will come to me and say: 'O Muhammad, you are the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets, and Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are in? Do you not see what has reached us?' I will set off and come under the Throne, and I will fall prostrate before my Lord. Then Allah will open for me and inspire me with His praises and beautiful commendations, something He has not opened for anyone before me. Then it will be said: 'O Muhammad, raise your head. Ask, and you shall be given. Intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.' I will raise my head and say: 'O Lord, my nation! O Lord, my nation!' It will be said: 'O Muhammad, admit those of your nation who have no account into Paradise from the right door of the doors of Paradise, and they are partners with the people in what is besides that of the doors.' Then he said: 'By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the distance between the two doorposts of the doors of Paradise is like the distance between Makkah and Hajar, or like the distance between Makkah and Busra.'"
