Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:37

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu 'Uthman, from Salman, who said: The sun will be given the heat of ten years on the Day of Resurrection, then it will draw near to the skulls of the people until it is at the distance of two bows' length. They will drown until the sweat reaches the height of a person in the earth, then it will rise until it reaches the throat of the man. Salman said: Until the man says, "Ghar, ghar" (choking). When they see what they are in, some of them will say to others: "Do you not see what you are in? Go to your father Adam, so that he may intercede for you with your Lord." So they will come to Adam and say: "O our father, you are the one whom Allah created with His hand, breathed into you from His spirit, and caused you to dwell in His Paradise. Rise and intercede for us with our Lord, for you see what we are in." He will say: "I am not there, and I am not that one. Where are the doers?" They will say: "To whom do you command us?" He will say: "Go to a servant whom Allah made grateful." So they will come to Nuh (Noah) and say: "O Prophet of Allah, you are the one whom Allah made grateful, and you see what we are in, so intercede for us with your Lord." He will say: "I am not there, and I am not that one. Where are the doers?" They will say: "To whom do you command us?" He will say: "Go to the Friend of the Most Merciful, Ibrahim (Abraham)." So they will come to Ibrahim and say: "O Friend of the Most Merciful, you see what we are in, so intercede for us with your Lord." He will say: "I am not there, and I am not that one. Where are the doers?" They will say: "To whom do you command us?" He will say: "Go to the Word of Allah and His Spirit, 'Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam." So they will come to 'Isa and say: "O Word of Allah and His Spirit, you see what we are in, so intercede for us with our Lord." He will say: "I am not there, and I am not that one. Where are the doers?" They will say: "To whom do you command us?" He will say: "Go to a servant through whom Allah opened and sealed, and forgave him his past and future sins, and we are on this day secure." So they will come to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. They will come to Muhammad and say: "O Prophet of Allah, Allah opened through you and sealed, and forgave you your past and future sins, and you have come on this day secure, and you see what we are in, so intercede for us with our Lord." He will say: "I am your man." He will go out from among the people until he reaches the gate of Paradise. He will take hold of the ring of the gate, which is of gold, and knock on the gate. It will be said: "Who is this?" He will say: "Muhammad." It will be opened for him. He will come until he stands before Allah, and he will ask permission to prostrate. Permission will be granted to him, so he will prostrate. It will be called out: "O Muhammad, raise your head; ask and you shall be given, intercede and your intercession shall be accepted, and supplicate and you shall be answered." He said: Allah will open for him of praise, glorification, and exaltation what He has not opened for any of the created beings. He will say: "My Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah." Then he will ask permission to prostrate, and permission will be granted to him, so he will prostrate. Allah will open for him of praise, glorification, and exaltation what He has not opened for any of the created beings. It will be called out: "O Muhammad, raise your head; ask and you shall be given, intercede and your intercession shall be accepted, and supplicate and you shall be answered." He will raise his head and say: "O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah," two or three times. Salman said: He will intercede for everyone who had in his heart the weight of a grain of wheat of faith, or the weight of a barleycorn of faith, or the weight of a mustard seed of faith. That is the Praiseworthy Station (al-Maqam al-Mahmud).
