Muhammad ibn al-Qasim al-Asadi narrated to us, from al-Awza’i, from Hassan ibn Atiyyah, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Uthman: "May Allah forgive you what you have sent forth and what you have delayed, and what you have kept secret and what you have made public, and what you have hidden and what you have revealed, and whatever will be until the Day of Resurrection."
