Abu Usama narrated to us, from Awf, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Hind al-Jamali, from Ali, who said: "When I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he would give me, and when I remained silent, he would initiate [the conversation] with me."
