Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, from Sharik, from Abu Ishaq, who said: Fatima said, "O Messenger of Allah, you have married me to a man with thin shanks, a large belly, and bleary eyes." He said, "I have married you to the earliest of my nation in Islam, the greatest of them in forbearance, and the most knowledgeable of them in learning."
