Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym, from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: I was in the house of Maymunah bint al-Harith, and I placed the water for the purification of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said: "Who placed this?" Maymunah said: "Abdullah." He said: "O Allah, grant him understanding in the religion and teach him the interpretation."
