Affan narrated to us, [who] said: Wuhayb narrated to us, [who] said: Musa ibn Uqbah narrated to us, [who] said: Salim ibn Abdullah ibn Umar narrated to me, that Abdullah ibn Umar said: We did not use to call him anything except Zayd ibn Muhammad, until the Quran was revealed: "Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah."
