Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:686

Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim—Al-A’mash said: I think it is from Ibn Umar—he said: Garments arrived for Umar, and he began distributing them among the people. A fine Najrani garment passed by him, so he placed it under his thigh until a man of my name passed by. I said: "Clothe me with it." He said: "I swear by Allah, I will clothe a man with it who is better than you, and whose father is better than your father." Then he called Abdullah ibn al-Rahib and clothed him with it.
