Waki’ narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Abu Salih, who said: When the statement of Salman to Abu al-Darda’ reached the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—"Indeed, your family has a right over you, and your sight has a right over you"—he said: "May his mother be bereaved of Salman; he has indeed expanded in knowledge."
