Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:710

Shababa ibn Sawwar narrated to us, from Layth ibn Sa'd, from Abu al-Zubayr, that the slave of Hatib ibn Abi Balta'a came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to complain about Hatib. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, Hatib will surely enter the Fire." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "You have lied. He will not enter it, for he has witnessed Badr and al-Hudaybiyyah."
