Hadith 27:72
Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from al-Sha'bi, from Jabir, who said: Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Haram died or was martyred. I sought the help of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding his creditors, that they might reduce something of their debt, but they refused. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Go and sort your dates into varieties, then inform me." He said: So I did, and I placed the Ajwa dates separately and sorted them into varieties, then I informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: So he came and sat on top of it, or in the middle of it, then said: "Measure for the people." So I measured for them until I had paid them in full, and it was my dates as if nothing had been diminished from them.
