Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:720

Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Adi, from al-Bara’, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Accept from their doers of good, and overlook [the faults of] their evildoers," meaning the Ansar.
