Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:726

Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Asim ibn Umar ibn Qatadah, that Qatadah ibn al-Nu'man’s eye fell onto his cheek on the day of Uhud. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, returned it [to its place], and it became his most beautiful eye and his sharpest one.
