Hadith 27:731
'Affan narrated to us, he said: Wuhayb narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Yahya narrated to us, from 'Abbad ibn Tamim, from 'Abdullah ibn Zayd, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Were it not for the emigration, I would have been a man from the Ansar. And if the people traveled through a valley or a mountain pass, I would travel through the valley of the Ansar and their mountain pass. The Ansar are the inner garment (shi'ar), and the people are the outer garment (dithar). And you will surely encounter selfishness (ithrah) after me, so be patient until you meet me at the Basin (al-Hawd)."
