Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from Uthman ibn al-Mughirah al-Thaqafi, from Abu Sadiq, from Rabi’ah ibn Najid, from Ali, who said: "Indeed, Quraysh are the leaders of the Arabs; their righteous ones are the leaders of their righteous ones, and their wicked ones are the leaders of their wicked ones. And for everyone there is a right, so render to every possessor of a right his right."
