Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Hisham, from Abdullah ibn Bastam, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever frightens the people of Medina, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Allah will not accept from him any obligatory deed nor any supererogatory deed." "Whoever frightens it has frightened what is between these two," and he pointed to what is between his two sides.
