Yazid narrated to us, he said: Al-Mas'udi informed us, from Al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, who said: The *'irab* (the receding of water) occurred during the time of Abdullah, and the people disliked that. He said: "O people, do not dislike its receding, for it is soon that a basin of water will be sought in it, but it will not be found. And that is when every water returns to its source, and the water and the remainder of the believers on that day will be in Al-Sham."
