Hadith 27:840

Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Muhammad ibn Abi Ya'qub, who said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah narrating from his father, that al-Aqra' ibn Habis came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "The thieves of the pilgrims from Aslam, Ghifar, and Muzaynah—and I think he said Juhaynah—have pledged allegiance to you." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "What do you think if Aslam, Ghifar—and I think he said Juhaynah—were better than Banu Tamim, Banu 'Amir, Asad, and Ghatafan?" They said: "They would have failed and lost." He said: "Yes. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, they are indeed better than them."
