'Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Uthman ibn Khuthaym, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) besieged the people of Ta'if. His companions came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the arrows of Thaqif have burned us, so supplicate to Allah against them." He said, "O Allah, guide Thaqif."
