Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:862

Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, from Umar ibn al-Walid, who said: Shihab ibn Abbad al-Asri narrated to me, that his father narrated to him, that Umar ibn al-Khattab stopped by them at Arafat. He said, "To whom do these tents belong?" They said, "To [the tribe of] Abd al-Qays." So he prayed for them and sought forgiveness for them.
