Muhammad ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from ‘Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Abu Wa’il, that the delegation of Banu Asad came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: "Who are you?" They said: "We are the sons of Zaniyah (adultery)." He said: "You are the sons of Rushdah (legitimacy)."
