Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from 'Awf, from Shahr, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "If the religion were suspended at the Pleiades, men from the sons of Persia would have attained it."
