Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:879

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Isma’il bin Khalid narrated to us, from Qays, that ‘Umar bin al-Khattab allotted for the people of Badr, for their relatives and their freed slaves, five thousand [dirhams] each. And he said: "I will surely prefer them over those who are other than them."
