Hadith 25:115
Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Salih ibn Khawwat, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, that Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz wrote: "The *mukātab* (an enslaved person under a contract of manumission) is not permitted to make a bequest or a gift, except with the permission of his master."
حدثنا بن مبارك عن صالح بن خوات عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر ان عمر بن عبد العزيز كتب أن المكاتب لا تجوز له وصية ولا هبة إلا بإذن مولاه
