Hadith 25:133
Mu'adh narrated to us, from Rawh ibn al-Qasim, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn 'Amr ibn Hazm, from his father, who said: There was a young man from Ghassan in Medina, and he had heirs in al-Sham, and he had a paternal aunt in Medina. When he was near death, she came to 'Umar ibn al-Khattab and mentioned that to him, and she said: "Should he make a bequest?" He said: "By Allah." He [the narrator] said: I said: "No." He [the narrator] said: So he made a bequest to her of some date palms, and I sold them on her behalf for thirty thousand dirhams.
حدثنا معاذ عن روح بن القاسم عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر بن عمرو بن حزم عن أبيه قال كان غلام من غسان بالمدينة وكان له ورثة بالشام وكانت له عمة بالمدينة فلما حضر أتت عمر بن الخطاب فذكرت ذلك له وقالت أفيوصي قال ( 1 ) الله قال قلت لا ( 1 ) قال فأوصى لها بنخل فبعته أنا لها بثلاثين ألف درهم
