Hadith 25:155
Hatim ibn Wardan narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, that he saw no harm in a man bequeathing to his slave one hundred or two hundred dirhams, if the heirs consent. And if he assigned something for him from his one-third, then it is [considered] towards his emancipation.
حدثنا حاتم بن وردان عن يونس عن الحسن أنه كان لا يرى بأسا أن يوصي الرجل لمملوكه بمائة درهم والمائتين إذا رضي الأولياء وإن جعل له شيئا من ثلثه فهو في عتقه
