Hadith 25:175
'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam narrated to us, from Dawud, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, regarding His saying: "And when the relatives, the orphans, and the needy are present at the division, provide for them from it." He narrated from Muhammad, from 'Ubaydah, that he was in charge of a will, so he ordered a sheep to be slaughtered and prepared food because of this verse. He said, "Were it not for this verse, this would have been from my own wealth."
حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن داود عن سعيد بن المسيب في قوله @QB@ وإذا حضر القسمة أولوا القربى واليتامى والمساكين فارزقوهم منه @QE@ فحدث عن محمد عن عبيدة أنه ولي وصية فأمر بشاة فذبحت فصنع طعاما لأجل هذه الآية وقال لولا هذه الآية لكان هذا من مالي
