Hadith 25:176
Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, regarding His saying: "And when [other] relatives and orphans and the needy are present at the [time of] division, then provide for them [something] out of it." He said: When the people are dividing the inheritance and these [individuals] are witnesses, a portion is given to them from the inheritance. If they are wealthy and one of them is a witness, then if he wishes, he gives from his own share. Otherwise, he says to them a kind word, saying: "If you had a right to it."
حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم في قوله @QB@ وإذا حضر القسمة أولوا القربى واليتامى والمساكين فارزقوهم منه @QE@ قال إذا كان قسم القوم الميراث وكان هؤلاء شهودا رضخ لهم من الميراث فإن كانوا أغنياء وأحد منهم شاهد فإن شاء أعطى من نصيبه وإلا قال لهم قولا معروفا يقول إن كان لكم فيه حقا
