Hadith 25:201
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, who said: The third (one-third) regarding the bequest was mentioned in the presence of Umar. He said: "The third is the middle course; it is neither a deficiency nor an excess."
