Hadith 25:238
Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who gives [a gift/charity] during a military engagement, boarding a ship, the plague, and pregnancy. He said: "Whatever they have obeyed [in terms of the conditions of the gift], it is permissible, and it shall not be [counted] from the one-third."
حدثنا بن مبارك عن هشام عن الحسن في الرجل يعطي في المزاحفة وركوب البحر والطاعون والحامل قال ما أطاعوا فهو جائز لا يكن من الثلث
