Hadith 25:284
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Muslim, from Masruq, that he was present with a man who was making a will. He made a will regarding things that were not appropriate. Masruq said: "Indeed, Allah has divided [the shares] among you, and He has done well. And whoever turns away from the opinion of Allah toward his own opinion goes astray. Make your will for your relatives who do not inherit from you, then leave the wealth for those upon whom Allah has divided it."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مسلم عن مسروق أنه حضر رجلا يوصي فأوصى بأشياء لا ينبغي فقال مسروق إن الله قد قسم بينكم فأحسن وأنه من يرغب برأيه عن رأي الله يضل أوص لذوي قرابتك ممن لا يرثك ثم دع المال على من قسمه الله عليه
