Hadith 25:304
Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated to us, from Isma'il, from Hakim ibn Jabir, that when death approached him, he had a young slave. It was said to him, "If you were to free this one." He said, "I have not left for my children anything other than him." He said: They repeated to him, "If you were to free him." So he recited this verse: "And let those [fear] who, if they had left behind them weak offspring..." until His saying: "...and let them speak a word of appropriate justice."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال ثنا يزيد بن عبد العزيز عن إسماعيل عن حكيم بن جابر أنه لما حضره الموت وكان له غلام فقيل له لو اعتقت هذا فقال إني لم أترك لولدي غيره قال فأعادوا عليه لو اعتقته فقرأ هذه الآية @QB@ وليخش الذين لو تركوا من خلفهم ذرية @QE@ إلى قوله @QB@ سديدا @QE@
