Hadith 25:316
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn Hassan informed us, he said: The first will of Muhammad ibn Sirin was: "This is what Muhammad ibn Abi Amrah has bequeathed: that he bears witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger. And he enjoined his sons and his family to fear Allah, to reconcile their differences, and to obey Allah and His Messenger if they are believers. And he enjoined them with that which Ibrahim enjoined his sons, and Ya'qub: 'O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you the religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims.'" And he claimed that it was the first will of Anas ibn Malik.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا هشام بن حسان قال كان أول وصية محمد بن سيرين هذا ما أوصى به محمد بن أبي عمرة أنه يشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله وأوصى بنيه وأهله أن اتقوا الله وأصلحوا ذات بينكم وأطيعوا الله ورسوله إن كنتم مؤمنين وأوصيهم بما أوصى به إبراهيم بنيه ويعقوب يا بني إن الله اصطفى لكم الدين فلا تموتن إلا وأنتم مسلمون وزعم أنها كانت أول وصية أنس بن مالك
