Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 25:73

Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Qatadah, from Abd al-Malik ibn Ya'la, regarding a man who made a bequest during his illness, then recovered, and then left it [as it was] until he died. He said: It is valid.
