Hadith 25:96
Mu'tamir narrated to us, from 'Asim, who said: Abu al-'Aliyah fell ill, so he emancipated a slave of his. They mentioned to him that he was beyond the river (Transoxiana). He said: "If he is alive, then I do not emancipate him, and if he is dead, then he is emancipated." And he mentioned this verse: "And he has weak offspring."
حدثنا معتمر عن عاصم قال مرض أبو العالية فأعتق مملوكا له ذكروا له أنه من وراء النهر فقال إن كان حيا فلا أعتقه وإن كان ميتا فهو عتيق وذكر هذه الآية @QB@ وله ذرية ضعفاء @QE@ ( 2 )
