Hadith 25:97
30812. Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Hisham, from Muhammad, who said: They used to make wills, and a man would write in his will: "If an event befalls me before I change this will of mine..." If it occurred to him to change it, he would change it if he wished, regarding manumission and other things. But if he did not make an exception in his will, he would change whatever he wished of it, except for manumission.
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن هشام عن محمد قال كانوا يوصون فيكتب الرجل في وصيته إن حدث بي حدث قبل أن أغير وصيتي هذه فإن بدا له أن يغير غير إن شاء العتاقة وغيرها فإن لم يستثن في وصيته غير منها ما شاء غير العتاقة
