Hadith 5:109
Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, who said: It reached us that Salim used to say: We have with us the document of 'Umar regarding the Zakat of camels and sheep, when the document of 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz came to us. And it was in the document which 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz wrote when he sent them to collect Zakat: If it exceeds one hundred and twenty, then for every fifty there is a hiqqah (a three-year-old she-camel), and for every forty there is a bint labun (a two-year-old she-camel).
حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن يحيى بن سعيد قال بلغنا أن سالما كان يقول عندنا كتاب عمر في صدقة الإبل والغنم حين قدم علينا كتاب عمر بن عبد العزيز فكان في الكتاب الذي كتب عمر بن عبد العزيز حين بعثهم يصدقون فإذا زادت على عشرين ومائة ففي كل خمسين حقة وفي كل أربعين بنت لبون
