Hadith 5:143
Narrated to us Abd al-Rahim, from Muhammad ibn Salim, from al-Sha'bi, from Ali, who said regarding forty: a *musinna* (a cow in its third year), and regarding thirty: a *tabi'* (a cow in its second year), and there is nothing [due] on the remainder (*al-nayf*).
