Hadith 5:192
9993. Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Salim, from al-Sha’bi, who said: The sheep are divided into two parts. The owner of the sheep chooses the better of the two parts, and the tax collector (musaddiq) chooses from the other part.
حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن محمد بن سالم عن الشعبي قال يقسم الغنم قسمين فيختار صاحب الغنم خير القسمين ويختار المصدق من القسم الآخر
