Hadith 5:274
Muhammad ibn Bakr (Bukayr) narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: 'Ata' said to me: "There is no Zakat on pearls, nor peridot, nor rubies, nor gemstones, nor trade goods, nor anything that is not traded. But if any of those things are traded, then there is Zakat on its price when it is sold."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر ( ( ( بكير ) ) ) عن بن جريج قال قال لي عطاء لا صدقة في اللؤلؤ ولا زبرجد ولا ياقوت ولا فصوص ولا عرض ولا شيء لا يدار وإن كان شيئا من ذلك يدار ففيه الصدقة في ثمنه حين يباع
