Hadith 5:279
Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wrote to Mu'adh in Yemen: "Take a tenth (ushr) from what the sky waters or what is watered by natural flow (ghayl). And from what is watered by the bucket (gharb) and the water-wheel (daliyah), take half a tenth."
حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن الحكم قال كتب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى معاذ باليمن أن خذ فيما سقت السماء أو سقي غيلا العشر وفيما سقي بالغرب والدالية نصف العشر
