Hadith 5:28
Sharik narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Muhajir, from Ibrahim, who said: Abu Bakr said, "If they were to withhold from me even a hobbling-rope of what they used to give to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), I would fight them." Then he recited: "And Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]?"
حدثنا شريك عن إبراهيم بن مهاجر عن إبراهيم قال قال أبو بكر لو منعوني ولو عقالا مما أعطوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لجاهدتهم ثم تلا @QB@ وما محمد إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل أفإن مات أو قتل انقلبتم على أعقابكم @QE@ 2
