Hadith 5:292
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mubarak narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’ regarding crops: If it is [irrigated] by the flow of time (i.e., natural water sources), then it is irrigated by the well—meaning by the bucket—and by the water-lifting device (daliyah). He said: It is judged according to the majority of that which it is irrigated by.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن مبارك عن بن جريج عن عطاء في الزرع يكون على سيح الزمان ثم يسقى بالبير ( ( ( بالبئر ) ) ) يعني بالدلو وبالدالية ( 1 ) قال يصدق على أكثر ذلك أن يسقى به
