Hadith 5:294
'Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Habib al-Mu'allim, who said: 'Ata' used to say regarding crops: "If the owner gives the harvesters and those who circulate [the grain] their wages, is there upon him Zakat on what he gave them?" He said: "No. Zakat is only upon what remains in your hand."
حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن حبيب المعلم قال كان عطاء يقول في الزرع إذا أعطى صاحبه أجر الحصادين والذين يدورون هل عليه فيما أعطاهم صدقة قال لا إنما الصدقة فيما حصل في يدك
