Hadith 5:312
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shareek narrated to us, from Abu al-Yaqzan, from Ibn Abi Layla, that Ali used to pay Zakat on the wealth of the children of Abu Rafi’, who were orphans under his guardianship. And he said: "Do you think that I would have wealth and not pay Zakat on it?"
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا شريك عن أبي اليقظان عن بن أبي ليلى أن عليا زكى أموال بني أبي رافع أيتام في حجره وقال ترون كنت ألي مالا لا أزكيه
